Reviewed in the United States on October 25, 2025Raad dafaiyExcellent Dash Cam – Great Value and Performance!
I’ve been using the AZDOME M550 3 Channel Dash Cam for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed! The video quality from all three cameras (front, inside, and rear) is excellent — clear and sharp, both day and night. The wide-angle lenses capture everything around the car, which gives me real peace of mind while driving.
The installation was straightforward, and the cable management kit made it easy to set up cleanly. The built-in GPS and Wi-Fi features work perfectly, allowing me to review footage right from my phone without any hassle. I also appreciate the parking mode and motion detection — they’ve already proven useful a couple of times.
Overall, the AZDOME M550 offers outstanding performance for its price. If you want a reliable, high-quality dash cam that records from all angles, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!ReportHelpful -
Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2025Edward McMahonI have been using this camera product for a while now and have been very pleased with its quality and ease of setup. The camera's clarity is excellent and having the storage chip is very important to me. I do some Ubering and to have the comfort of knowing that my surroundings (front, rear, interior) are being recorded and by having my passengers see that I am recording the interior of my vehicle is an excellent deterrent of any intended mischief. I have used their customer services and they are very friendly, helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this camera.ReportHelpful

Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2024CramazonianAt least I got it on sale so I don't feel like I burned a lot of money, and I believe it will be useful if I ever need a front-camera recording for an incident but other than that it's been only so-so.
Pros: Easy to install, I even found a way to mound the back camera to my SUV, and I guess running the wires wasn't too bad. Worked easily from the start, not complicated to set up. 3 cameras is better than 1 or 2.
Cons: Read camera basically can't capture anything useful at night. There is literally no night vision, I have no idea why there would be any claim of this. Also, since I've had it in my car now for about 3 months, it's randomly told me I need to format the SD 4 times. I formatted it before initial use, everything seemed fine, and randomly 4 times already when starting up my car instead of it working & recording right away it tells me I need to format the SD. Its the SD that came with it, the one the company recommends ahead of any other SD card. Lastly, accessing the video files is a pain with the WiFi feature, most of the time the App can barely browse or download, and its also hard to tell which video is which camera recorded at what time. Pulling the card to read it off a computer is a lot easier, only did that once because that's cumbersome unless I REALLY need a recording. Access to the videos is extremely not friendly, nevermind that they occasionally all get wiped due to the random decision the device says the card needs to be formatted. If you ever need the recordings off it, get them off the SD fast before it decides it's time to format.
Update 3/29/2024:
Downgrading to 1 star.
It got worse. Tonight I almost got ran off the road by another car that was swerving in & out of traffic and after the incident I managed to pull up behind them close enough to what should have captured their license plate. When I got home and went to look at the videos on the SD card I saw that the last time it recorded anything was 9 days before even though the recording indicator on the main camera display is always on when it's powered on. This dash cam fails in every way possible to do the one core job it was made to do. Can anyone recommend a better 3-camera setup for an SUV? This one had good reviews and I don't like playing roll-the-dice on products that are purchased for a critical need. -
Reviewed in the United States on October 4, 2025Zayso far so good. THe camera is clear and captures images good. It is very easy to operate. Sometimes the camera does not automatically come on when i start the car even though i have it hardwired. It is neat and doesn't overpower the windshield when installed.ReportHelpful

Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2025EmilyI purchased the AZDOME M550 dash camera in July 2024, and after over a year of use, it remains in excellent condition. I hardwired the camera to the fuse box of my 2013 Honda Civic. I noticed that if I didn’t drive for more than three days, the car battery would occasionally be dead upon starting. To prevent this, I simply disconnected the camera after parking, which resolved the issue. A solution if you won’t want to disconnect the camera is to drive the vehicle more consistently. There are also setting on the camera you can select to draw less voltage.
The camera connects to an app that’s fairly straightforward to use. Video downloads can take more than five minutes, but that’s expected since I use the highest resolution and the longest recording length. The M550 performs exceptionally well in all conditions—day, night, and rain—capturing clear details and sound both inside and outside the vehicle.
For installation, I mounted both the front and rear cameras to the inside of the windshield rather than wiring the rear camera outside. While the kit includes adhesive tape, I chose to use additional black Gorilla Tape for the rear camera, as I found it offers stronger and longer-lasting hold.
Disclaimer: The interior camera began malfunctioning August 2025 after everyday use. However, after contacting customer service, they agreed to send me a replacement unit. The support process was straightforward, and they addressed all my questions and concerns promptly.

Arkie5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect, reliableReviewed in the United Arab Emirates on October 19, 2024The item works well. It records all video and audio clearly, even at night. The battery capacity could be improved though. Sometimes it turns off on the first minute of switching the engine. Maybe because the battery is low, but after switching manually, it works perfectly fine.

DJ Prewer1.0 out of 5 stars No Australian Timezone settingReviewed in Australia on October 14, 2025During initial setup I realised it only supports USA and UK time zones. This was also confirmed in the manual. Returned for refund.
It did look to be a good quality unit though. -
P5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent 3-Way Dash Cam!Reviewed in Canada on April 1, 2024• Reason for Purchase: Unfortunately, despite a Club 3000 dual hook lock, our Jeep Wrangler 4xe was stolen off of our driveway mid-day. In the car, we had the Azdome M300S 4K dash camera which we initially ordered given its fully-loaded but no screen minimalistic design. At that time, we did not know much about the Azdome brand and so did not want to overspend on an item. We bought that camera for $119.76 CAD (incl. HST) in Sep 2023. However, when it came time to replacing our camera which the thieves took from us, we decided to go with this device given the 3-channel nature to allow for an in-cabin, front, and back camera view.
• Materials/Build Quality: Plastic encasing.
• Features: Easy access to camera recordings via WiFI definitely offers a ton of convenience as opposed to ejecting and reinserting the SD card which can also inadvertently lead to corruption of recorded files. Fortunately, (because my car has not suffered any significant impact), I have not been able to test the G-sensor which I think would be an important feature if someone were to hit my vehicle with theirs in a parking lot for example. The image quality is great.
• Aesthetic: I really like that this camera can be installed in a minimalistic/discrete way without a large suction cup versus to other options. Other devices I have had with suction cup attachment to the windshield have also fallen off with extreme heat/cold which can be annoying vs. this 3M tape way of installation which has been sturdy thus far (and also with the M300S version I had before my car was stolen).
• Installation: Super easy to install! The most difficult part is getting the wiring done but this would be the same for every dash camera. This one has a mount to easily un/re-attach the camera; however, while this is great, it also honestly is not needed as the camera has WiFi capability so you do not need to take out the SD card or remove the camera from the windshield to view the files.
• Comparable Products: While I have heard lots about the Vantrue 3-channel 4K camera options, I decided to stick with this given price and my experience with the 2-channel M300S option as discussed above.
• Price: $214.69 CAD (incl. taxes)
